Leila Entezami is a cultural strategist and seasoned community engagement professional whose work is integral to CAMS’s mission. As Vice President of the Canadian Asian Music Society (CAMS), she brings a wealth of experience in cultural programming, arts management, and community-based initiatives.

Leila has led and supported a wide range of projects focused on accessibility, equity, and intercultural collaboration—particularly within immigrant and newcomer communities. Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of cultural heritage and its role in shaping identity, fostering resilience, and connecting people across differences.

With a strong background in inclusive program design and partnership development, Leila plays a key role in shaping CAMS’s community-facing activities. She supports artist collaborations, educational outreach, and culturally-responsive events that reflect CAMS’s commitment to dialogue, diversity, and artistic excellence.

As an immigrant and an educated professional in Canada, Leila understands the challenges faced by diasporic communities—particularly around cultural representation, access to the arts, and identity preservation.
